RST Enterprises LLC d/b/a Purpose Payment (“Purpose”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your privacy as set forth in this privacy notice (“Privacy Notice”). This Privacy Notice applies to personal data collected on our website located at https://www.thepurposepayment.com/ (the “Website”) and the related Purpose Payment Application  (together with the Website, the “Services”). This Privacy Notice describes our privacy practices in connection with the Services, including the personal data we collect, how we use personal data, who we may disclose personal data to, your personal data choices, our personal data safeguards, and our contact information. By using the term “personal data” in this Privacy Notice, we mean any information that can be used to identify you.

We may change this Privacy Notice at any time, with the most current version posted on the Website and Purpose Payment Application, and reflecting its effective date. All amendments to this Privacy Notice will be effective immediately upon providing notice thereof, which we may give by any means, including by posting a revised version of the Privacy Notice on the Website or Purpose Payment Application. 

Personal Data Collection

Purpose collects data that you submit through the Services. This includes the following categories of data (which may constitute personal data):

·      Username;

·      Password;

·      Telephone number; 

·      Financial information;

·      Donation information;

·      Personal data submitted in connection with contests and promotions; 

·      Any other personal data you may choose to provide to us through the Services. 

Purpose offers account linking and ACH payment services through Plaid Inc. (“Plaid”). By using account linking and ACH payment services, you acknowledge and agree that the terms of Plaid’s Privacy Policy will govern Plaid’s use of such information, and you expressly agree to the terms and conditions of Plaid’s Privacy Policy. Further, you expressly grant Plaid the right, power, and authority to access and transmit your information as reasonably necessary for Plaid to provide these services to you. Purpose will collect information about the transactions associated with, and the cash flows into and out of, accounts linked through Plaid.

Automatic Data Collection

We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log and combine information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction over time with the Services, online resources and our communications, including:

• Internet Protocol (“IP”) address;

• Device data such as your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, device type (e.g., phone, tablet), IP address, unique identifiers (including identifiers used for advertising purposes), language settings and general location information such as city, state or geographic area.

• Online activity data such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, the website you visited before browsing to the Services, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, duration of access and whether you have opened or otherwise engage with our communications, such as our marketing emails or clicked links or files within them.

We collect such personal information automatically via cookies, pixel tags, local storage technologies, web beacons or similar technologies on our Services (collectively referred to as “Cookies”), including for conducting analytics and advertising.  You can control cookie settings through your browser, but please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

The Services may use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, in order to better understand your use of our Services and how we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit a website, what pages you visit when you do so, and what other websites you used prior to coming to such website. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit a website, rather than your name or other directly identifying information. Although Google Analytics plants a persistent Cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit a website, the Cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Purpose uses the personal data we collect for the following purposes:

Purpose does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise disclose your personal data except as set forth in this Privacy Notice.  However, Purpose may disclose all the categories of your personal data that we collect to the following categories of recipients: 

·      Our business partners and service providers, including Plaid, to provide Services or assistance for the purposes set forth above; 

·      Donation recipients as part of the provision of the Services and transactions authorized thereunder; 

·      Recipients required by applicable legal authority, including law enforcement agencies, regulators, courts, other government authorities, or other third parties where we believe necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of any third party; 

·      Our affiliates, which includes future businesses that are under common control with us or under our control;

·      in the context of a transaction with potential transaction partners, service providers, advisors, and other third parties, such as in connection with a merger, asset sale, financing, liquidation, bankruptcy, or dissolution. 

Personal Data Choices

Please refrain from using the Services and do not provide personal data to us if you do not wish for your personal data to be used in accordance with this Privacy Notice. If you provide us with your email address, Purpose may send you emails related to the Services and other promotional information. If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, please unsubscribe by following the directions for unsubscribing in any email you may receive from us. 

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with our Services or to perform our business or commercial purposes for collecting your personal data. In certain cases, we may need to retain your personal data for purposes required under applicable law, for tax, accounting, or audit purposes, or for other purposes permitted or required under law. Purpose takes reasonable measures to protect the personal data collected on the Services. Nevertheless, no security system, website, or platform is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee that your personal data will be secure. 

Children’s Personal Data

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information about children or sell products to children. Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we will not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Links to Other Websites

Other websites, including those of our partners (links to which appear on the Website and Purpose Payment Application), have their own privacy policies. When you provide personal information at one of those sites, you are subject to the privacy policy of the operator of that site, not the Purpose Payment Privacy Notice.
